Yes, juice can be part of a miracle.

Recently in Uganda you helped launch 16 Christmas Gospel outreaches that fed hungry children physically with a meal and spiritually with God’s word. Your generosity fed the souls of 9,010 at-risk children and 847 adults. And for the majority of those 9,010 children, it meant eating meat for the first time … in a year.

Miriam, a 14 year-old girl said, “I am happy for the love and care you have shown to us. it is my first time this year to eat meat … and juice is also miracle to us!”

Public celebrations in Uganda rarely serve meat, reserving it for the elderly. But thanks to you, these children felt truly special, calling the event a “miracle.” Their excited cries of gratitude to staff and volunteers were testaments to the transformative power of your giving. You didn’t just feed bodies, you nourished hearts and ignited hope through the proclamation of God’s word.

Food for thought

John 6:26-29 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.”

Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”

Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

Mission to Children feeds, evangelizes, and disciples at-risk children around the world.
