God’s lovingkindness and mercy come in all shapes and sizes.

Meet Siddarth. This four-year-old boy is full of life. You can see it in his eyes, and you can see it when he writes and eats with his feet. We pray that one day Siddarth will become a vessel of God’s mercy to his family and his community.

Siddarth is one of about fifty amazing children at our Beracah ministry hub in Bangalore, India. Because of your timely help, these children benefit from food, care, education, and lots of love in a gospel-centered environment. Siddarth’s parents were relieved to learn about this holistic care available for their son, so he could gain access to an education.

This ministry hub strategically reaches out to children of the most deprived caste in India (Dalits). The director of the hub shared with us, “We take nothing for granted … every meal, every health check-up. Thanks for your timely support.”

God’s work through your partnership resulted in Siddarth’s introduction and immersion into a Christian community. You helped us provide a way to reach children with God’s word. Whether you’ve been helping fund this ministry hub, gospel outreaches, where the need is greatest, or praying through Scripture for the ministry, your engagement continues to make an impact:

  • You helped reach Siddarth, who needs to know the truth: That the God of the Bible is the same God who is providing for his care, his ability to write and eat with his feet—even his adventurous spirit to try and climb around the playground as he is able. (Please pray that as Siddarth hears the gospel, he believes it!)
  • You helped Siddarth’s family come into contact with Christians who are now helping their son develop, and experience God’s love. (They recently came to their first Christmas gospel outreach ever at this ministry hub!)
  • You helped display God’s glory to the surrounding community, just as in Psalm 72:12-14: For He delivers the needy when he calls, the poor and him who has no helper. He has pity on the weak and the needy, and saves the lives of the needy. From oppression and violence he redeems their life, and precious is their blood in his sight.

Thanks for your continued prayer and support. Siddarth’s parents wouldn’t have known help was available to them without a sustained Christian presence on the front lines of South India.

For God’s glory,

Byron Garmo

P.S. Will you pray and help us find additional partners to meet the needs of this ministry hub in south India? Thanks!
