Have you Accepted the Gift of Salvation?

Jesus Christ Died for Your Sins—and Mine

“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9).

“Then Jesus declared, ‘I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.’” (John 6:35-40)

We don’t know what tomorrow holds, do we? So today, you can ask Jesus Christ to take His rightful place as your Savior as you:

• Admit your need in the light of God’s holiness. (Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”)
• Confess your sinfulness. (Psalm 51:2-3: “Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me.”)
• Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins on the cross and rose from the grave. (Romans 5:8: “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”)
• Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (John 1:12: “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name.”)

Pray a Prayer such as:

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins and rose from the grave. I repent of my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I will trust and follow You as Savior and Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
