Character Solutions International (CSI)
Character Solutions International (CSI) exists to strengthen personal responsibility and interpersonal respect among children and the adults who influence them.
One of the core causes of corruption, poverty, and socioeconomic chaos in countries such as Romania, Liberia, and Bolivia is a pervasive paucity of character. MTC formed CSI as an MTC subsidiary to intervene and help transform the societal systems and expectations that create these calamities. This program teaches character and challenges teachers to be positive role models for the children they influence. CSI also has developed companion guides for the use of this Bible-based curriculum in churches, Christian homes, and our children’s homes. It includes Bible references and Bible stories.
The Character Solutions logo consists of a compass and a tree. The compass represents our need to choose the right direction. It symbolizes our internal moral compass, crucial for making good decisions.
The compass needle that points to true north is a giant redwood tree, which represents character. The giant redwood tree stands out because it is the tallest and widest tree in the world. It is also unusually resistant to insects and fire. As the rings of a redwood tree strengthen its trunk, “rings of character” strengthen the person who diligently develops them. Like the redwood tree, people with good character stand tall and stand firm, unusually resistant to temptations and adversity. Good character helps a person make good decisions.
What We Provide
Character Solutions International provides seminars by certified trainers and follow-up materials especially designed for educators of children ranging in age from seven to eleven.
Ministry Results
Our goal and prayer for all children and adults influenced by MTC is that their lives will be characterized by their love for God and for others. They will demonstrate this through their lifestyle worship, personal responsibility, and interpersonal respect.
