How does a corporate giving campaign work?

Through community and workplace fund-raising drives, United Way raises money for many non-profit organizations. Likewise, Neighbor to Nation represents Christian charities like Mission to Children, Inc. in workplace drives, offering thoughtful people like you the opportunity to donate to Mission to Children, Inc. through payroll deductions. Whichever organization is hosting the event at your company, when the campaign starts, ask if Mission to Children, Inc. is one of the non-profit organizations listed for you to donate toward. If not, you can write us in!

Contributions that make a difference where the need is greatest

Our tax identification number is 952649274. Workplace giving campaigns make crucial religious and human service programs possible through Mission to Children, Inc. including: new Bibles to Arabic and Chinese children in their own language, food and clothing for orphanages, training and curriculum so that a youth worker can excel morally through our character program, and meals for hungry children in Haiti. Since Neighbor to Nation and United Way both deduct fund-raising expenses before they distribute the funds raised, Mission to Children, Inc. will not get 100 percent of your donation. Therefore, since we are not in control of exactly when we receive the contribution, and because we do not receive 100 percent of the donation, it is not possible to allocate for any specific project or sponsorship designation. Since we know employees are strongly encouraged to participate in these worthy campaigns, Mission to Children, Inc. feels it is important that we offer you the option of contributing to MTC in this way.

Charity Gifts Cards Offer Fun Advantage to Giving "Stuff"

Are you running out of ideas for somebody's birthday or next gift? A sociably responsible option is at www.JustGive.org and www.NetworkForGood.org. Both websites offer charity gift cards that serve as "gift" alternatives. The gift card gives the recipient a contribution amount to donate to their favorite charity of choice. The drawback to this option is that if you would like the end donation to be contributed to Mission to Children, Inc., you'll need to provide something about us to the gift card recipient. Mission to Children, Inc. is listed on both websites as a valid and responsible 501(c)(3) charity to handle such gift card donations.
